After 25 minutes of play, AFC Nijvel's Fabrice Strupar made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Florian Van Severen was left in no man's land by his defense there! Robby Boede could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Denis Deroek made a huge save. Florian Van Severen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabrice Strupar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabrice Strupar in the 40th minute of play forced Kortessem's goalkeeper Florian Van Severen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Matthy Schoutens made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Kortessem's goalkeeper Florian Van Severen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Geoffry Lieckens. Denis Deroek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matthy Schoutens in the 58th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, AFC Nijvel's Stef Van Aghten got a free kick in the 64th minute. Florian Van Severen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Geoffry Lieckens in the 66th minute of play. 71 minutes into the match, AFC Nijvel's Geoffry Lieckens sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Florian Van Severen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Florian Van Severen came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by AFC Nijvel's Fabrice Strupar. But to his dismay, Fabrice Strupar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Florian Van Severen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Geoffry Lieckens, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 95 played minutes Kortessem got a freekick which was hit by Robby Boede. The Kortessem fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. AFC Nijvel were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
