Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Geoffry Lieckens got the match started through his kick off. If Ron Van Aarschot had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 5 minutes into the match, Willy Verheyden notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of AFC Nijvel's Denis Deroek. Denis Deroek was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Willy Verheyden kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Denis Deroek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ron Van Aarschot in the 12th minute of the match. Michael De Hoef received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Denis Deroek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Michael De Hoef charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Michael De Hoef the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 17th minute, Michael De Hoef hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Lommel SK's Enzo Rymenans got a free kick in the 21st minute. 24 minutes into the match, Lommel SK's goal looked a bit too open when Geoffry Lieckens came free, but Yoachim De Mees reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Denis Deroek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Michael De Hoef in the 29th minute of play. Denis Deroek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Michael De Hoef, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Michael De Hoef had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 38 minutes, Michael De Hoef managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lommel SK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Michael De Hoef was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The attack was good, but when Ron Van Aarschot in the 45th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ron Van Aarschot made a kick off. 63 minutes into the match, Geoffry Lieckens had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Yoachim De Mees. Lommel SK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Geoffry Lieckens was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Enzo Rymenans hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. In the 76thth minute of the game Geoffry Lieckens who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lommel SK's Yoachim De Mees was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 81st minute Ron Van Aarschot shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Denis Deroek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Michael De Hoef succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-2 in the 82nd playminute. Fabrice Strupar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fabrice Strupar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yoachim De Mees having to interfere. Yoachim De Mees made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabrice Strupar in the 91st minute of play. 93 minutes into the game, Fabrice Strupar cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Yoachim De Mees was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Michael De Hoef got free with Denis Deroek in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
