Victor Van Dijck kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. In the 7th minute, Enzo Rymenans hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Yoachim De Mees stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gust Devriendt's shot from short distance in the 9th minute. The supporters of FC mon jardin booed when Lommel SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Michael De Hoef didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ron Van Aarschot in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Remi Van Groenderbeek prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Gust Devriendt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gust Devriendt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yoachim De Mees having to interfere. Remi Van Groenderbeek was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ron Van Aarschot showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 20 minute of play. Yoachim De Mees showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gust Devriendt, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. In the 35thth minute of the game Kevin Pastijns who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lommel SK's Yoachim De Mees was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Yoachim De Mees showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kevin Pastijns, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. 44 minutes into the game, Andris Smeulders was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lommel SK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC mon jardin the free kick. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Yoachim De Mees didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 54th minute, which inside left pole to 1-1. Lommel SK's Yoachim De Mees proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Lommel SK from getting a goal against them. In the 64thth minute of the game Ron Van Aarschot who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC mon jardin's Remi Van Groenderbeek was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 74 minutes into the match, Lommel SK's goal looked a bit too open when Gust Devriendt came free, but Yoachim De Mees reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Lommel SK supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching FC mon jardin's performance. The match ended with a win for FC mon jardin.
