If Geordy Enskens had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 75 minutes, Nicolas Caes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. RSC Sint-Martens-Leerne's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nicolas Caes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Geordy Enskens's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sander Billen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicolas Caes in the 80th minute of play forced Borgloon KFC's goalkeeper Sander Billen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Emile Lefevre received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Sander Billen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 88 minutes into the match, RSC Sint-Martens-Leerne's Geordy Enskens sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sander Billen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Alexandre Van Haechten could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Jasper Van den Bossche made a huge save.
