Spectators: 7624 (Terracing: 5719, Seating: 1753, VIP seats: 152) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Geoffry Lieckens kicked off to start the match. Glenn Hemeleers blasted a shot towards the goal in the 2nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Denis Deroek having to make a save. Seppe De Boeck kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. 5 minutes into the match, Borgloon KFC's goal looked a bit too open when Fabrice Strupar came free, but Sander Billen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Fabrice Strupar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 8th minute, Geoffry Lieckens left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AFC Nijvel fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Lex Conincx hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. In the 25th minute of the match, Glenn Hemeleers tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Denis Deroek saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Sander Billen came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by AFC Nijvel's Fabrice Strupar. But to his dismay, Fabrice Strupar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Sander Billen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabrice Strupar in the 36th minute of play. Denis Deroek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Martijn Eijkens, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, AFC Nijvel's Denis Deroek got control of the ball when Alexandre Van Haechten tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 44th match minute, AFC Nijvel was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lex Conincx to maneuver through the defense. In the 47th minute Viktor Loots shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Denis Deroek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half AFC Nijvel were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Martijn Eijkens stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 52 played minutes Borgloon KFC got a freekick which was hit by Glenn Hemeleers. The supporters of AFC Nijvel booed when Borgloon KFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Octavian Pluijssens didn't get a good kick on the ball. Geoffry Lieckens received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Sander Billen came out and tried to block the shot, but Geoffry Lieckens slotted it home off the left post making it 2-4 in the 62nd minute. In the 65th minute Martijn Eijkens shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Denis Deroek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 67 minutes into the match, Borgloon KFC's goalkeeper Sander Billen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fabrice Strupar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Octavian Pluijssens during the 72nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 72nd minute, Octavian Pluijssens hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Geoffry Lieckens had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alexandre Van Haechten received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Denis Deroek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, AFC Nijvel's Seppe De Boeck got a free kick in the 77th minute. If Geoffry Lieckens had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Denis Deroek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexandre Van Haechten, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. 88 minutes into the match, Borgloon KFC's goal looked a bit too open when Geoffry Lieckens came free, but Sander Billen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 91 minutes into the match, Borgloon KFC's goalkeeper Sander Billen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fabrice Strupar. Alexandre Van Haechten kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Geoffry Lieckens received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Sander Billen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The AFC Nijvel players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
