Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) An unexpectedly hard shot by Vicente Suetens in the 3rd minute of play forced KAA Reigerloo's goalkeeper Laurenz Stevens to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mattias Verbruggen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, KAA Reigerloo's Laurenz Stevens got control of the ball when Mattias Verbruggen tried to sneak it across the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vicente Suetens in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Laurenz Stevens saved KAA Reigerloo from getting behind. If Albert Deville had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mattias Verbruggen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Mattias Verbruggen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Andreas Verstraeten during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Andreas Verstraeten kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. In the 25th minute, Vicente Suetens got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. During the 26th minute of the match Andreas Verstraeten completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Andreas Verstraeten a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Andreas Verstraeten kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. 28 minutes into the match, KAA Reigerloo's goalkeeper Laurenz Stevens had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mattias Verbruggen. 31 minutes in the game, Vicente Suetens fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Laurenz Stevens having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Vicente Suetens managed to get in a good position for a shot. KSV Grandmenil's supporters rose to their feet, but Vicente Suetens was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Laurenz Stevens breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Vicente Suetens might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Laurenz Stevens. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vicente Suetens ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mattias Verbruggen got free with Laurenz Stevens in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 44 minutes in the game, Vicente Suetens fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Laurenz Stevens having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vicente Suetens in the 45th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Laurenz Stevens prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in KAA Reigerloo's zone, Mattias Verbruggen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Laurenz Stevens came out of the goal and Mattias Verbruggen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Albert Deville was the one to do the kick off. Mattias Verbruggen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Laurenz Stevens tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Laurenz Stevens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vicente Suetens, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Albert Deville who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 66thth minute tested the skills of Nickolas Demeyer when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Albert Deville scored 0-1 in the 71st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nickolas Demeyer, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Mattias Verbruggen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Laurenz Stevens tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 88th minute Mattias Verbruggen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Laurenz Stevens saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mattias Verbruggen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Laurenz Stevens having to interfere. In the 96th match minute, KSV Grandmenil was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Viktor Raniers to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 98 minutes, Mattijs Goethuys managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. KAA Reigerloo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mattijs Goethuys was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Chants of KAA Reigerloo echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as KSV Grandmenil had held the ball for most of the match.
