Spectators: 7568 (Terracing: 5677, Seating: 1740, VIP seats: 151) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Xander-Paul De Ceijser kicked off to start the match. Ronald Van Meerbeek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sylvan Lemmens, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Xander-Paul De Ceijser sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 13 minutes into the match, VC Vryheeren's goal looked a bit too open when Xander-Paul De Ceijser came free, but Tomm Demeyer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tomm Demeyer was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Xander-Paul De Ceijser showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 19 minute of play. Frederik Martens charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Frederik Martens the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 29 played minutes VC Vryheeren got a freekick which was hit by Frederik Martens. In the 38th minute, Gert-Jan Figaro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Toon Vervoort to strike the kick off in the second half. Maxim Vermeesch lost his temper 54 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Kristiaan De Beer shot the penalty kick right outside the post. With a little luck, Real Spomob's Ronald Van Meerbeek got control of the ball when Sylvan Lemmens tried to sneak it across the goal line. Xander-Paul De Ceijser sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Xander-Paul De Ceijser fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomm Demeyer having to interfere. Tomm Demeyer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xander-Paul De Ceijser, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Gill De Hertoge hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Tomm Demeyer came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by Real Spomob's Nicolaas Vranckx. But to his dismay, Nicolaas Vranckx quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xander-Paul De Ceijser in the 83rd minute of play forced VC Vryheeren's goalkeeper Tomm Demeyer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sylvan Lemmens received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Ronald Van Meerbeek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
