Toon Vervoort started the match with the kick off. Frederik Martens kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Matthieu De Ketelaere's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tomm Demeyer was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Desselgem's Pierre-Olivier Uijterhoven got a free kick in the 10th minute. If Toon Vervoort had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 20th minute of the match, Toon Vervoort tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Wart Gevaert saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Toon Vervoort received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Wart Gevaert tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 24 minutes, Toon Vervoort managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. VC Vryheeren's supporters crossed their fingers, but Toon Vervoort was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 29th minute Jonathan Wolfdoncx shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomm Demeyer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Desselgem's Matthieu De Ketelaere in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye VC Vryheeren's goalie prevented a goal. In the 35th minute of the match Yanick Theys sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tomm Demeyer skillfully saved the ball. If Toon Vervoort had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 46th match minute, Desselgem was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mathis Rokeloos to maneuver through the defense. 47 minutes into the match, VC Vryheeren's Toon Vervoort sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Wart Gevaert narrowly saved just below the crossbar.

If Sylvan Lemmens had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 59 minutes, Jonathan Wolfdoncx managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Desselgem's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jonathan Wolfdoncx was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, VC Vryheeren's Tomm Demeyer got control of the ball when Jonathan Wolfdoncx tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jonathan Wolfdoncx received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Tomm Demeyer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tomm Demeyer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matthieu De Ketelaere in the 70th minute of play. Desselgem's Wart Gevaert played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Toon Vervoort in the 72nd minute of play. Gunter Van den Bergen's late challenge caught a VC Vryheeren's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gunter Van den Bergen helped the player get up and apologised. Gunter Van den Bergen hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. After having played for 79 minutes, Sylvan Lemmens managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. VC Vryheeren's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sylvan Lemmens was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Toon Vervoort in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wart Gevaert saved Desselgem from getting behind. Sylvan Lemmens fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wart Gevaert having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sylvan Lemmens in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wart Gevaert prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 89 minutes into the match, VC Vryheeren's Toon Vervoort sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Wart Gevaert narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 93rd minute, Matthieu De Ketelaere got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A hard shot 96 in the game by Mathis Rokeloos from a close distance when the talented Tomm Demeyer managed to make a qualified save. VC Vryheeren's players were relieved. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
