The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Xander-Paul De Ceijser to strike the kick off in the second half. After having played for 52 minutes, Henry Demeyer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ANTWERP FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Henry Demeyer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, ANTWERP FC's Gerrit Vits got control of the ball when Nicolaas Vranckx tried to sneak it across the goal line. Nicolaas Vranckx received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. After 96 minutes of play, Real Spomob's Nicolaas Vranckx made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gerrit Vits was left in no man's land by his defense there! ANTWERP FC were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
