The audience was convinced that Lander Sas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jerome Jennes was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. In the 21st minute of the match Michiel Scheerens sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jerome Jennes skillfully saved the ball. Lander Sas scored 0-1 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jerome Jennes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 28 minutes into the match, Lander Sas notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of KV Mont-Saint-Guibert's Jerome Jennes. Jerome Jennes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 34 played minutes, KFC Goldensquad's Michiel Scheerens shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jerome Jennes came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in KFC Goldensquad reached it. In the 36th minute, Diego Sevenants got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 38th minute, Robbrecht Roekeloos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jerome Jennes was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Frits Van Leempoel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jannic Hagemans having to interfere. The KV Mont-Saint-Guibert players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. KFC Goldensquad were winning 0-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Diego Sevenants was the one to do the kick off. When Diego Sevenants came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the KFC Goldensquad fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Diego Sevenants couldn't finish the play. Diego Sevenants blasted a shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jerome Jennes having to make a save. Jerome Jennes was a little too slow when Thibau Borginions got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 55th minute. The score was now 0-4. KFC Goldensquad's Diederiek Wenderickx got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of KV Mont-Saint-Guibert booed when KFC Goldensquad was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Perry Goddez didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, KV Mont-Saint-Guibert's Emile Valckenaers tried to score from far away in the 66th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. KFC Goldensquad's Diego Sevenants got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Diederiek Wenderickx had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Diego Sevenants managed to get in a good position for a shot. KFC Goldensquad's supporters rose to their feet, but Diego Sevenants was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jerome Jennes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Diego Sevenants fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jerome Jennes having to interfere. Charly Naets hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. A hard shot 78 in the game by Diego Sevenants from a close distance when the talented Jerome Jennes managed to make a qualified save. Diego Sevenants who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 89thth minute tested the skills of Jerome Jennes when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Axell Imbrechts during the 90th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 90th minute, Axell Imbrechts hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jerome Jennes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diego Sevenants in the 91st minute of play. If Diego Sevenants had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. KFC Goldensquad's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
