KFC Sassenrode's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Erplé the free kick. The supporters of FC Erplé booed when KFC Sassenrode was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Michael Fierens didn't get a good kick on the ball. Qwinten Blomme sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the KFC Sassenrode defense, Qwinten Blomme kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Steve Schockaert. The KFC Sassenrode fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Steve Schockaert should have stopped the shot. In the 37th minute, Staf Heijlen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 38th minute, Michael Fierens got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of KFC Sassenrode booed when FC Erplé was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arnoud Huvenaerts didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, KFC Sassenrode's Michael Fierens got a free kick in the 42nd minute.

51 minutes into the match, FC Erplé's goal looked a bit too open when Jean-Louis Adriaens came free, but Claus Huijberechts reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. But to his dismay, Charles Uijtterhoeven quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-3. The supporters of FC Erplé booed when KFC Sassenrode was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Laurence Hemelaer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Qwinten Blomme recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Qwinten Blomme could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Steve Schockaert made a huge save. Claus Huijberechts made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tim Nagels in the 88th minute of play. After a rather tough play, FC Erplé's Lode Van de Loock got a free kick in the 88th minute. Jean-Louis Adriaens sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
