Spectators: 7118 (Terracing: 5250, Seating: 1728, VIP seats: 140) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Staf Uijtterhoeven made the kick off which started today's match. 4 minutes into the match, Staf Uijtterhoeven had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arno Philippaerts. Gottem's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Staf Uijtterhoeven was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. After having played for 11 minutes, Sylvan Symons managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. KSV Ramsdonk's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sylvan Symons was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 20 minutes into the match, Gottem's goalkeeper Arno Philippaerts had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sylvan Symons. A collision led to Gottem getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Ruud Rauvoets hit a great ball. With an all-out effort, KSV Ramsdonk's Arno Philippaerts threw himself towards the right post 23 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Staf Uijtterhoeven, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 30th minute, Erik-Jan De Meulder got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Arno Philippaerts was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Staf Uijtterhoeven showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 32 minute of play. Sylvan Symons received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Arno Philippaerts tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ruud Rauvoets in the 43rd minute of play forced KSV Ramsdonk's goalkeeper Luckas Labrouche to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luckas Labrouche showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ruben Van den Dries, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Robbe Gyselincx to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Matthew Lefebre was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gottem's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave KSV Ramsdonk the free kick. In the 51st minute, one of Gottem:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Gottem. In the 53rd minute there was a penalty for KSV Ramsdonk. Jeffrey Van Deijck stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Arno Philippaerts. 4-0. In the 59th minute, Robbe Gyselincx got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Gottem getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Wart Depelsmaker hit a great ball. After 65 minutes, Staf Uijtterhoeven made it 5-0 with a short kick to the right side. Gottem's Arno Philippaerts tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Staf Uijtterhoeven in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arno Philippaerts prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sylvan Symons in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arno Philippaerts saved Gottem from getting behind. 79 minutes into the match, KSV Ramsdonk's Sylvan Symons sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Arno Philippaerts narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Arno Philippaerts took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Staf Uijtterhoeven, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Guilian Mattheijs's late challenge caught a KSV Ramsdonk's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Guilian Mattheijs helped the player get up and apologised. In the 96th minute, Guilian Mattheijs hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Sylvan Symons came up free with the goalie in the 98th minute, the KSV Ramsdonk fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sylvan Symons couldn't finish the play. KSV Ramsdonk's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
