With a little luck, FC Erplé's Claus Huijberechts got control of the ball when Tobias Decloedt tried to sneak it across the goal line. Charles-Louis Pardons showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dean Diependaele in the 7th minute of the match. FC Erplé's Dean Diependaele got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Willem-Alexander Bernaerts struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Charles-Louis Pardons didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Erplé. A collision led to FC Erplé getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Davy Van De Gehuchte hit a great ball. Bryan Meijers took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Claus Huijberechts. Claus Huijberechts dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Claus Huijberechts made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henry Calewaerts in the 23rd minute of play. FC Erplé's Claus Huijberechts proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save FC Erplé from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tobias Decloedt got free with Claus Huijberechts in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to FC Erplé getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Lode Van de Loock hit a great ball. In the 32nd minute, Henry Calewaerts fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Bryan Meijers succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 32nd playminute. Henry Calewaerts received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Claus Huijberechts tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arnoud Huvenaerts hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Claus Huijberechts made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henry Calewaerts in the 53rd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Fort Huntington's zone, Qwinten Blomme stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Charles-Louis Pardons came out of the goal and Qwinten Blomme tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The goalkeeper, Charles-Louis Pardons, was totally fooled by FC Erplé's Willem-Alexander Bernaerts, who 57 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. FC Erplé's Qwinten Blomme got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Charles-Louis Pardons made an important save on a dangerous shot by Willem-Alexander Bernaerts in the 69th minute. Charles-Louis Pardons made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Willem-Alexander Bernaerts in the 71st minute of play. After some careless play in the FC Erplé defense, Richard Verdonk kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Claus Huijberechts. Dean Diependaele fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Charles-Louis Pardons having to interfere. FC Erplé's Dean Diependaele got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Charles-Louis Pardons was out of position in the 97 minute of play, and Dean Diependaele capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Dean Diependaele really showed his touch with that goal: 3-2. FC Erplé's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
