But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jean-Louis Adriaens couldn't finish the play. 12 minutes into the game, KFC Sassenrode's Jean-Louis Adriaens nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Luckas Labrouche made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. KSV Ramsdonk's Luckas Labrouche played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jean-Louis Adriaens in the 16th minute of play. Luckas Labrouche showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jean-Louis Adriaens, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Charles Uijtterhoeven struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Luckas Labrouche didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for KFC Sassenrode. Charles Uijtterhoeven received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Luckas Labrouche tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Charles Uijtterhoeven managed to get in a good position for a shot. KFC Sassenrode's supporters rose to their feet, but Charles Uijtterhoeven was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luckas Labrouche breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 36 minutes into the match, Jean-Louis Adriaens had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Luckas Labrouche. KSV Ramsdonk's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jean-Louis Adriaens was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. After a rather tough play, KFC Sassenrode's Lennart Vissenaeken got a free kick in the 39th minute. Sylvan Symons received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Steve Schockaert tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luckas Labrouche showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Charles Uijtterhoeven, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Charles Uijtterhoeven might have been able to make a better finish in the 48th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Luckas Labrouche. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Charles Uijtterhoeven ran back to his position shaking his head. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-5.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jean-Louis Adriaens to strike the kick off in the second half. Staf Uijtterhoeven fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Steve Schockaert having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Willem-Jan Puttemas during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to KSV Ramsdonk getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Willem-Jan Puttemas hit a great ball. If Jean-Louis Adriaens had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luckas Labrouche took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jean-Louis Adriaens, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. KSV Ramsdonk's Luckas Labrouche proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save KSV Ramsdonk from getting a goal against them. 74 minutes into the game, KFC Sassenrode's Lennart Vissenaeken nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. KFC Sassenrode's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
