Spectators: 7534 (Terracing: 5652, Seating: 1732, VIP seats: 150) Lars De Hertoghe made the kick off and thus started the match. 9 minutes into the match, Luckas Van Aertvin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fransesco Van Lier. The Black Eagles's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luckas Van Aertvin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 12th minute of the match Arthur Van Aerschodt sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fransesco Van Lier skillfully saved the ball. In the 14th minute, The Black Eagles's Tibaut Ourogge seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Tibaut Ourogge the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of The Black Eagles protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Tibaut Ourogge had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 15 played minutes The Black Eagles got a freekick which was hit by Tibaut Ourogge. Fransesco Van Lier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lars De Hertoghe in the 17th minute of the match. With a little luck, TAFKAZ's Lionel Dekker got control of the ball when Wouter De Bisschop tried to sneak it across the goal line. Nils Van Eynde fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lionel Dekker having to interfere. When Ief Baele fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored TAFKAZ's protests and gave Ief Baele a yellow card for diving instead. The Black Eagles's Fransesco Van Lier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lars De Hertoghe in the 22nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, The Black Eagles's Nils Van Eynde got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Wouter De Bisschop sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lars De Hertoghe struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Fransesco Van Lier didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for TAFKAZ. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nils Van Eynde during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Nils Van Eynde kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. In the 34th minute, Lars De Hertoghe left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The TAFKAZ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Fransesco Van Lier stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lars De Hertoghe's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. Lars De Hertoghe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of The Black Eagles booed when TAFKAZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ief Baele didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Kim Luytens fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored The Black Eagles's protests and gave Kim Luytens a yellow card for diving instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Fransesco Van Lier came out of the goal and Lars De Hertoghe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Black Eagles's Fransesco Van Lier proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save The Black Eagles from getting a goal against them. Luckas Van Aertvin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fransesco Van Lier was out of position in the 63 minute of play, and Lars De Hertoghe capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Francois Schaerlaekens might have been able to make a better finish in the 71st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fransesco Van Lier. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Francois Schaerlaekens ran back to his position shaking his head. Fransesco Van Lier was a little too slow when Lars De Hertoghe got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 72nd minute. The score was now 0-4. Fransesco Van Lier was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Lars De Hertoghe showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-5 in the 78 minute of play. Luckas Van Aertvin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Luckas Van Aertvin struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Fransesco Van Lier didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for TAFKAZ. Wouter De Bisschop blasted a shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lionel Dekker having to make a save. Lars De Hertoghe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the final whistle sounded TAFKAZ left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than The Black Eagles.
