After a defensive mix-up in Sint-Laureins's zone, Wouter De Bisschop stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bass Peeters came out of the goal and Wouter De Bisschop tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Emile De Kijser's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fransesco Van Lier read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. In the 29th minute, Evert Liebrechts hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jammy Van Achter received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Fransesco Van Lier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Sint-Laureins's Jesse Uijterhoven got a free kick in the 36th minute. In the 53rd minute Wouter De Bisschop shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bass Peeters saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nils Van Eynde helped the player get up and apologised. In the 66th minute, Nils Van Eynde hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Matthew Persoons fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bass Peeters having to interfere. The Black Eagles's Wouter De Bisschop got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When The Black Eagles's Matthew Persoons in the 78th minute got a chance for a shot 78th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sint-Laureins's goalie prevented a goal. When Waud Lambert fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sint-Laureins's protests and gave Waud Lambert a yellow card for diving instead. Waud Lambert kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Sint-Laureins defense, Wouter De Bisschop kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bass Peeters. The Sint-Laureins fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bass Peeters should have stopped the shot. Jesse Uijterhoven received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Bass Peeters showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wouter De Bisschop, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute.
