Spectators: 6758 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1758, VIP seats: 0) Brewers Gold's Claude Van de Velde started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Claude Van de Velde managed to get in a good position for a shot. Brewers Gold's supporters rose to their feet, but Claude Van de Velde was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bass Peeters breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 10 minutes into the match, Brewers Gold's goalkeeper Martijn Eekhout had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jammy Van Achter. Claude Van de Velde sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Diederiek Van den Inde in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bass Peeters prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Brewers Gold's Vic Langhmans got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the Sint-Laureins defense, Diederiek Van den Inde kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bass Peeters. The Sint-Laureins fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bass Peeters should have stopped the shot. Diederiek Van den Inde took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bass Peeters. Bass Peeters dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. In the 25th match minute, Sint-Laureins was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emile De Kijser to maneuver through the defense. In the 31st minute Diederiek Van den Inde shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bass Peeters saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Diederiek Van den Inde fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bass Peeters having to interfere. The supporters of Sint-Laureins booed when Brewers Gold was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vic Langhmans didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jammy Van Achters short, quick shot in the 37thth minute got Martijn Eekhout to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. A collision led to Brewers Gold getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Vic Langhmans hit a great ball. After 40 minutes of play, Brewers Gold's Claude Van de Velde made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bass Peeters was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Claude Van de Velde in the 46th minute of play forced Sint-Laureins's goalkeeper Bass Peeters to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Emile De Kijser was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emile De Kijser in the 59th minute of play forced Brewers Gold's goalkeeper Martijn Eekhout to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 62nd minute, Claude Van de Velde fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Bass Peeters, passed just outside the right post. 65 minutes into the game, Claude Van de Velde recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Bass Peeters. Claude Van de Velde showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4. Jammy Van Achter blasted a shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Martijn Eekhout having to make a save. In the 71st minute Jammy Van Achter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martijn Eekhout saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emile De Kijser in the 76th minute of play forced Brewers Gold's goalkeeper Martijn Eekhout to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 77th minute, Sint-Laureins's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Diederiek Van den Inde fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. A hard shot 79 in the game by Diederiek Van den Inde from a close distance when the talented Bass Peeters managed to make a qualified save. Sint-Laureins's players were relieved. It was 0-6, 88 minutes into the match. 92 minutes into the match, Sint-Laureins's goal looked a bit too open when Claude Van de Velde came free, but Bass Peeters reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Diederiek Van den Inde succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-7 in the 95th playminute.
