When the match had gone on for 8 minutes, Lars De Hertoghe took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Matthias Van Haerschot to make any attempt to save it. 14 minutes into the match, Lars De Hertoghe notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Bl's Matthias Van Haerschot. Matthias Van Haerschot was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. TAFKAZ's Lionel Dekker played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luckas Vinx in the 18th minute of play. Sam-Lucas De Clercq sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Bl booed when TAFKAZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Steffe De Maerschalckx didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Bl getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Luckas Vinx hit a great ball. In the 35th minute of the match, Lars De Hertoghe tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Matthias Van Haerschot saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. When Werner Van de Leest fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bl's protests and gave Werner Van de Leest a yellow card for diving instead. After 36 played minutes Bl got a freekick which was hit by Werner Van de Leest. An unexpected shot in the 39th minute by Luckas Van Aertvin got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Luckas Van Aertvin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

If Lars De Hertoghe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 56th minute Lars De Hertoghe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matthias Van Haerschot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ief Baele sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bl's Matthias Van Haerschot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lars De Hertoghe in the 60th minute of play. Lars De Hertoghe struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Matthias Van Haerschot didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for TAFKAZ. When the match had gone on for 63 minutes, Luckas Van Aertvin put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Matthias Van Haerschot. Luckas Van Aertvin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 74th match minute, Bl was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luckas Vinx to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Bl's Werner Van de Leest got a free kick in the 85th minute. Matthias Van Haerschot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lars De Hertoghe in the 89th minute of the match. In the 90thth minute of the game Lars De Hertoghe who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bl's Matthias Van Haerschot was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Sam-Lucas De Clercq fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lionel Dekker having to interfere. TAFKAZ's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
