If Sammy De Smedt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of KSV Lambermont booed when Zwarte Leeuw was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thys Gijselinckx didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 17thth minute of the game Patrick Ruttens who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Zwarte Leeuw's Johannes Styles was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Sammy De Smedt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 34th minute, Patrick Ruttens left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The KSV Lambermont fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. If Patrick Ruttens had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sammy De Smedt made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patrick Ruttens in the 54th minute of play forced Zwarte Leeuw's goalkeeper Johannes Styles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sammy De Smedt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Johannes Styles tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luuk Van den Bergen in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gerrit Storms saved KSV Lambermont from getting behind. In the 63rd match minute, KSV Lambermont was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mathis De Leger to maneuver through the defense. Gerrit Storms showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bram Van Malcot in the 64th minute of the match. Johannes Styles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sammy De Smedt in the 70th minute of play. Zwarte Leeuw's Johannes Styles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sammy De Smedt in the 72nd minute of play. KSV Lambermont's Patrick Ruttens got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
