After a rather tough play, Invictus FC's Albert Van hoegaerde got a free kick in the 37th minute. Yanick Spoelberghe was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 38th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. The supporters of Invictus FC booed when sk bellem2 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jakob Maertens didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marcus De Brouwer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Floris Sterckmans made a kick off. Nicolas Bastiaens didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Piet de Wolf went, in the 53rd minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. sk bellem2's Nicolas Bastiaens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Floris Sterckmans in the 62nd minute of play. When the match had gone on for 65 minutes, Floris Sterckmans put it in 5-0 from a short distance just to the right of Nicolas Bastiaens. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Piet de Wolf managed to get in a good position for a shot. Invictus FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Piet de Wolf was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nicolas Bastiaens breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Floris Sterckmans struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Nicolas Bastiaens didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Invictus FC. After 75 minutes of play, Invictus FC's Floris Sterckmans made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nicolas Bastiaens was left in no man's land by his defense there!
