The audience thought a goal was coming when Sebastian Kerckmans got free with Gerrit Storms in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 18th minute, Sebastian Kerckmans got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gerrit Storms made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Sebastian Kerckmans sent off a good shot on target. Stephan Van Bettenrode's late challenge caught a KSV Lambermont's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sammy De Smedt to make the kick off. After 56 played minutes KSV Lambermont got a freekick which was hit by Mathis De Leger. Wim Hemelaers's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gerrit Storms read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. If Sebastian Kerckmans had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Benjamin Wigghers during the 65th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, 2860 Rechtsback's Benjamin Wigghers got a free kick in the 65th minute. Sammy De Smedt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Herald Cuejvers having to interfere. Herald Cuejvers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sammy De Smedt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Patrick Ruttens's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 81stth minute, Herald Cuejvers skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 85th minute there was a penalty for 2860 Rechtsback. Adam Van Beersel stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Gerrit Storms. 1-0. Wim Hemelaers ran back to his position shaking his head. Wim Hemelaers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute.
