Wayne Huijbrechs showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Charly Tombeurs in the 25th minute of the match. In the 28th minute Wim Van den Panhuyzen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fransesco Daniels saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fransesco Daniels made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wim Van den Panhuyzen in the 33rd minute of play. A collision led to Club Poperinge getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Jason Delamenin hit a great ball. After 37 minutes of play Club Poperinge's Jason Delamenin was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Tommas De Roeck shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Fransesco Daniels showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Remco Van Meenen in the 42nd minute of the match. Fransesco Daniels took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ewout Kerkhove, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fransesco Daniels didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ewout Kerkhove went, in the 48th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Wim Van den Panhuyzen to make the kick off. In the 57thth minute of the game Laurend Loosen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Club Poperinge's Fransesco Daniels was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wim Van den Panhuyzen in the 69th minute of play forced Club Poperinge's goalkeeper Fransesco Daniels to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wim Van den Panhuyzen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute.
