Spectators: 6731 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1731, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Fabrice Herremans got the match started through his kick off. VC Pittem's Dyllan Van Crickinghe got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 16 minutes of play, BVC ROMY pils's Fabrice Herremans made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Brain De Schepper was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Fabrice Herremans managed to get in a good position for a shot. BVC ROMY pils's supporters rose to their feet, but Fabrice Herremans was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Brain De Schepper breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fabrice Herremans succeeded in the game's 22nd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-2. 27 minutes into the game, BVC ROMY pils's Jozef Cerneels nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Brain De Schepper made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. After 30 played minutes, VC Pittem's Maxime Hemeleers shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Mathias-Alexander Bellinkx came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. Jozef Cerneels received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Brain De Schepper tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dyllan Van Crickinghe to make the kick off. Louis-Philippe Wollans hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. With a little luck, VC Pittem's Brain De Schepper got control of the ball when Jozef Cerneels tried to sneak it across the goal line. The goalkeeper, Brain De Schepper, was totally fooled by BVC ROMY pils's Birger Airpoel, who 75 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. The supporters of VC Pittem booed when BVC ROMY pils was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robin Van de Goor didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luukas Jacobs received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Mathias-Alexander Bellinkx tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. BVC ROMY pils were furious when Birger Airpoel was red carded, 86 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 1-4 came in the 89th minute when Jonas Elsens all by himself managed to get straight through the defense and place the ball into the net to the right of Mathias-Alexander Bellinkx. After 92 played minutes VC Pittem got a freekick which was hit by Dyllan Van Crickinghe. Brain De Schepper stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jozef Cerneels's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. BVC ROMY pils's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
