In the 6th minute, Wim Van den Panhuyzen left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The RSC Verrewinkel fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Mathias-Alexander Bellinkx took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Laurend Loosen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wim Van den Panhuyzen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Laurend Loosen in the 35th minute of play forced BVC ROMY pils's goalkeeper Mathias-Alexander Bellinkx to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mathias-Alexander Bellinkx didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Wim Van den Panhuyzen went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Laurend Loosen in the 40th minute of play forced BVC ROMY pils's goalkeeper Mathias-Alexander Bellinkx to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Laurend Loosen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Wayne Huijbrechs was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Fabrice Herremans showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-3 in the 47 minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Wim Van den Panhuyzen made the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Laurend Loosen managed to get in a good position for a shot. RSC Verrewinkel's supporters rose to their feet, but Laurend Loosen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mathias-Alexander Bellinkx breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Laurend Loosens short, quick shot in the 58thth minute got Mathias-Alexander Bellinkx to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 60 minutes into the match, RSC Verrewinkel's goal looked a bit too open when Jozef Cerneels came free, but Wayne Huijbrechs reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 63 played minutes BVC ROMY pils got a freekick which was hit by Willem Vincx. Wim Van den Panhuyzen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Mathias-Alexander Bellinkx tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. BVC ROMY pils's Mathias-Alexander Bellinkx proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save BVC ROMY pils from getting a goal against them. In the 75th minute, Laurend Loosen fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. The crowd rose to their feet as RSC Verrewinkel's Wim Van den Panhuyzen slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Mathias-Alexander Bellinkx. That made the score 1-4 after 75 minutes of play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 80th minute of the game. One of BVC ROMY pils:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of RSC Verrewinkel:s goal. In the 82nd minute there was a penalty for RSC Verrewinkel. Tommas De Roeck stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Mathias-Alexander Bellinkx. 1-5. Laurend Loosens short, quick shot in the 85thth minute got Mathias-Alexander Bellinkx to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Jos Vandendriessche hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Jozef Cerneels sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Wim Van den Panhuyzen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mathias-Alexander Bellinkx was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Wim Van den Panhuyzen showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-6 in the 97 minute of play. When the final whistle sounded RSC Verrewinkel left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than BVC ROMY pils.
