Spectators: 7496 (Terracing: 5623, Seating: 1724, VIP seats: 149) Bas Van Kamp started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Claude Van den Haute made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bas Van Kamp in the 4th minute of play. 4 minutes into the match, Bas Van Kamp notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Hyperion AFC's Claude Van den Haute. Claude Van den Haute was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Claude Van den Haute made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jarno Maertens in the 7th minute of play. 17 minutes into the match, Tisselt's goal looked a bit too open when Reemy Turpin came free, but Marciano Afonso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 22 minutes into the match, Tisselt's goalkeeper Marciano Afonso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Robrecht Smekens. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bas Van Kamp in the 34th minute of play forced Hyperion AFC's goalkeeper Claude Van den Haute to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Bas Van Kamp came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Tisselt fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bas Van Kamp couldn't finish the play. Tisselt's Bas Van Kamp got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Tisselt's Fre Demeyer got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bas Van Kamp in the 46th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Claude Van den Haute prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tisselt's Martial Sterckmans has a good shot, but didn't show it this time. The shot went over the crossbar in the 47th minute.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Diedrik La Rose made a kick off. In the 51st minute, Martial Sterckmans ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Claude Van den Haute was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Ralf Degryse kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Marciano Afonso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from William Tuerlinckx, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Hyperion AFC's zone, Lucas Van Bever stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Claude Van den Haute came out of the goal and Lucas Van Bever tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 60thth minute of the game Diedrik La Rose who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tisselt's Marciano Afonso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Bas Van Kamp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Bas Van Kamp managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tisselt's supporters rose to their feet, but Bas Van Kamp was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Claude Van den Haute breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bas Van Kamp struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Claude Van den Haute didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tisselt. Martial Sterckmans might have been able to make a better finish in the 78th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Claude Van den Haute. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Martial Sterckmans ran back to his position shaking his head. Martial Sterckmans recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Claude Van den Haute acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 94th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Pierre-Alexandre Lanckneus. The Hyperion AFC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Tisselt were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
