Spectators: 7522 (Terracing: 5642, Seating: 1730, VIP seats: 150) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Bas Van Kamp made the kick off which started today's match. After 5 played minutes Pharmatoppers got a freekick which was hit by Bernd Huijgens. Bas Van Kamp's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Johnny Engelboorgs read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 7th minute of play. Tisselt's Marciano Afonso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bart Steenbecks in the 10th minute of play. In the 11th minute, Bart Steenbecks got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Pharmatoppers getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Bernd Huijgens hit a great ball. 24 minutes into the match, Thys Goris had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marciano Afonso. Tisselt's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Thys Goris was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 30th minute Josef Gooris shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marciano Afonso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 33 minutes into the game, Jarno Maertens recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Johnny Engelboorgs. Jarno Maertens showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. In the 36th minute Bart Steenbecks shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marciano Afonso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Martial Sterckmans sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tisselt's Bas Van Kamp got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Pierre-Alexandre Lanckneus hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. In the 47th minute Jules Sellekaers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marciano Afonso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jules Sellekaers was the one to do the kick off. When Pharmatoppers's Jules Sellekaers in the 52nd minute got a chance for a shot 52nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Tisselt's goalie prevented a goal. Marciano Afonso came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by Pharmatoppers's Bart Steenbecks. But to his dismay, Bart Steenbecks quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Marciano Afonso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jules Sellekaers in the 74th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jules Sellekaers during the 78th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 78th match minute, Pharmatoppers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jules Sellekaers to maneuver through the defense. Tisselt's Bas Van Kamp got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 86 minutes into the match, Tisselt's goalkeeper Marciano Afonso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bart Steenbecks. The supporters of Tisselt booed when Pharmatoppers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jules Sellekaers didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Pharmatoppers's zone, Bas Van Kamp stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Johnny Engelboorgs came out of the goal and Bas Van Kamp tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the final whistle went the supporters of Pharmatoppers were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Tisselt side.
