Diedrik La Rose started the match with the kick off. Claude Van den Haute showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jules Sellekaers, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Diedrik La Rose fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Johnny Engelboorgs having to interfere. Bjorn Kindermans charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bjorn Kindermans the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Pharmatoppers's Bjorn Kindermans got a free kick in the 10th minute. If Jules Sellekaers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Luckas Van der Willeghem charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Luckas Van der Willeghem the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. If Diedrik La Rose had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Hyperion AFC's Claude Van den Haute got control of the ball when Bart Steenbecks tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 34 played minutes Hyperion AFC got a freekick which was hit by Robrecht Smekens. When Bart Steenbecks came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Pharmatoppers fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bart Steenbecks couldn't finish the play. Guilian Dedecker's late challenge caught a Pharmatoppers's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Guilian Dedecker helped the player get up and apologised. Guilian Dedecker hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Pharmatoppers's Jules Sellekaers slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Claude Van den Haute. That made the score 1-0 after 37 minutes of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jules Sellekaers to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute of the match, Reemy Turpin tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Johnny Engelboorgs saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Jules Sellekaers struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Claude Van den Haute didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pharmatoppers. When Pharmatoppers's Jules Sellekaers in the 60th minute got a chance for a shot 60th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Hyperion AFC's goalie prevented a goal. Claude Van den Haute showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jules Sellekaers in the 66th minute of the match. William Tuerlinckx could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Johnny Engelboorgs made a huge save. In the 70thth minute of the game Bart Steenbecks who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hyperion AFC's Claude Van den Haute was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jules Sellekaers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claude Van den Haute having to interfere. Claude Van den Haute took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jules Sellekaers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 84 minutes into the game, Robrecht Smekens was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hyperion AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pharmatoppers the free kick. Robrecht Smekens kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. When Jules Sellekaers came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Pharmatoppers fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jules Sellekaers couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jules Sellekaers in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Claude Van den Haute prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Pharmatoppers were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Hyperion AFC for a fine match.
