After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Danny Godefroid managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nowotarscy Rozbojnicy's supporters rose to their feet, but Danny Godefroid was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mathijs Mesmaekers breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nowotarscy Rozbojnicy's Mathieu Moreau proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Nowotarscy Rozbojnicy from getting a goal against them. Mathijs Mesmaekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Danny Godefroid in the 37th minute of play. In the 42nd minute, Ernest Wijgaert hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Danny Godefroid made a kick off. Jarne Verduijn fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mathijs Mesmaekers having to interfere. Mathijs Mesmaekers came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by Nowotarscy Rozbojnicy's Jarne Verduijn. But to his dismay, Jarne Verduijn quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 62ndth minute of the game Danny Godefroid who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Wolfsburg's Mathijs Mesmaekers was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 65th minute, Danny Godefroid fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Nowotarscy Rozbojnicy's Mathieu Moreau played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henri Delen in the 71st minute of play. After a rather tough play, Nowotarscy Rozbojnicy's William Roscams got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Danny Godefroid fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mathijs Mesmaekers having to interfere. Henri Delen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Mathieu Moreau tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Henri Delen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
