Spectators: 7550 (Terracing: 5664, Seating: 1736, VIP seats: 150) R.W.D.M.'s Terry Izemborgh started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Laurens Deswarte fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matias Carels having to interfere. After 5 played minutes R.W.D.M. got a freekick which was hit by Mathias Van Huyck. In the 6th minute Silvain Denijs shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sam-Lucas Loots saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Silvain Denijs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Robbin Godefroid fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sam-Lucas Loots having to interfere. After 20 minutes of play, Oombergen's Robbin Godefroid made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sam-Lucas Loots was left in no man's land by his defense there! Leon Matthieu charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Leon Matthieu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Oombergen getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Leon Matthieu hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silvain Denijs in the 25th minute of play forced R.W.D.M.'s goalkeeper Sam-Lucas Loots to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sam-Lucas Loots came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by Oombergen's Robbin Godefroid. But to his dismay, Robbin Godefroid quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 29th minute of the match Steven Beaufort sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sam-Lucas Loots skillfully saved the ball. Robbin Godefroid fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sam-Lucas Loots having to interfere. Silvain Denijs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Oombergen's Robbin Godefroid got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Silvain Denijs recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sam-Lucas Loots made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silvain Denijs in the 41st minute of play. In the 43rd minute, Robbin Godefroid got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 44thth minute of the game Silvain Denijs who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but R.W.D.M.'s Sam-Lucas Loots was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Oombergen booed when R.W.D.M. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mathias Van Huyck didn't get a good kick on the ball. 47 minutes into the match, Oombergen's Joerie Vandewalle broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

52 minutes into the match, R.W.D.M.'s goal looked a bit too open when Silvain Denijs came free, but Sam-Lucas Loots reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leon Matthieu hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Terry Izemborgh sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 57 minutes into the match, Laurens Deswarte notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Oombergen's Matias Carels. Matias Carels was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Terry Izemborgh sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Robbin Godefroid charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Robbin Godefroid the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Oombergen's Robbin Godefroid got a free kick in the 66th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Leon Matthieu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Oombergen's supporters rose to their feet, but Leon Matthieu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sam-Lucas Loots breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Silvain Denijs's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sam-Lucas Loots read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. Silvain Denijs was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 78th minute. Oombergen's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. R.W.D.M.'s defense didn't have a chance, in the 80th minute, when Robbin Godefroid scored to the left of an out of position Sam-Lucas Loots, making the score, 1-3. With an all-out effort, Oombergen's Sam-Lucas Loots threw himself towards the right post 84 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Silvain Denijs, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Oombergen's Robbin Godefroid got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Robbin Godefroid sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Robbin Godefroid succeeded in the game's 90th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-4.
