Brend Gyselinx's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kasper Vercruysse read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 4th minute of play. When Sam-Lucas Imbrechs fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rozen's protests and gave Sam-Lucas Imbrechs a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Rozen's Sam-Lucas Imbrechs got a free kick in the 17th minute. Ùnico Tongeren's Carel Van Kamp played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dre De Geyter in the 21st minute of play. Carel Van Kamp showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dre De Geyter, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. 32 minutes into the game, Henri-Patrick De Ridder recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Carel Van Kamp. Henri-Patrick De Ridder showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Robrecht Vrankx made a kick off. After 51 played minutes Rozen got a freekick which was hit by Soren Cooreman. In the 55th minute, Ùnico Tongeren's Robrecht Vrankx ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Kasper Vercruysse. Kasper Vercruysse yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. A hard shot 63 in the game by Robrecht Vrankx from a close distance when the talented Kasper Vercruysse managed to make a qualified save. Rozen's players were relieved. In the 66th match minute, Rozen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jan Van Linthoud to maneuver through the defense. With an all-out effort, Ùnico Tongeren's Kasper Vercruysse threw himself towards the right post 67 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Robrecht Vrankx, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Rozen's Kasper Vercruysse played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robrecht Vrankx in the 71st minute of play. In the 75th minute, Jacob Van Eijcke ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Carel Van Kamp was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. Dre De Geyter fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carel Van Kamp having to interfere. Soren Cooreman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Dolf Temmerman came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Ùnico Tongeren fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dolf Temmerman couldn't finish the play. Willy Verhulst charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Willy Verhulst the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 86th minute, Willy Verhulst hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Ùnico Tongeren's zone, Dre De Geyter stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carel Van Kamp came out of the goal and Dre De Geyter tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Ùnico Tongeren getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Willem Lyens hit a great ball. When Robrecht Vrankx fell near the penalty area in the 98th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ùnico Tongeren's protests and gave Robrecht Vrankx a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Ùnico Tongeren's Robrecht Vrankx got a free kick in the 98th minute. Chants of Ùnico Tongeren echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Rozen had held the ball for most of the match.
