The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Benjamin Versluys during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Gustaaf Hollants made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Jacques De Wulf sent off a good shot on target. Octaaf Verstraeten fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hendrik-Jan Fouquet having to interfere. 79 minutes into the match, VC Warande's goal looked a bit too open when Octaaf Verstraeten came free, but Hendrik-Jan Fouquet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jef Neef sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to SC Givry getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Octaaf Verstraeten managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Givry's supporters rose to their feet, but Octaaf Verstraeten was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hendrik-Jan Fouquet breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Jacques De Wulf managed to get in a good position for a shot. VC Warande's supporters rose to their feet, but Jacques De Wulf was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post.
