Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Yens Calstermans kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. 4 minutes into the match, SC Givry's goal looked a bit too open when Enzo Van de Plas came free, but Gustaaf Hollants reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Octaaf Verstraeten might have been able to make a better finish in the 14th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dominic Vissenaekens. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Octaaf Verstraeten ran back to his position shaking his head. 14 minutes into the match, Erembodegem's goal looked a bit too open when Jef Neef came free, but Dominic Vissenaekens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 20th minute, Johan Vinckx hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With an all-out effort, Erembodegem's Gustaaf Hollants threw himself towards the right post 22 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Mitch De Beer, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When Johan Vinckx fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Givry's protests and gave Johan Vinckx a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to SC Givry getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Johan Vinckx hit a great ball. In the 30th minute, Erembodegem's Glenn Geerts dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Glenn Geerts fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gustaaf Hollants having to interfere. In the 37thth minute of the game Mitch De Beer who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Givry's Gustaaf Hollants was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Glenn Geerts sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gustaaf Hollants took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mitch De Beer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mitch De Beer in the 46th minute of play forced SC Givry's goalkeeper Gustaaf Hollants to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Erembodegem's Willy Goffyn got a free kick in the 47th minute.

Constant Bauwmans charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Constant Bauwmans the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Constant Bauwmans hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Jef Neefs short, quick shot in the 56thth minute got Dominic Vissenaekens to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. A collision led to SC Givry getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Benjamin Versluys hit a great ball. After some careless play in the SC Givry defense, Constant Bauwmans kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gustaaf Hollants. The SC Givry fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gustaaf Hollants should have stopped the shot. 73 minutes into the match, SC Givry's Jef Neef sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dominic Vissenaekens narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Glenn Geerts came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Erembodegem fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Glenn Geerts couldn't finish the play. If Jef Neef had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gustaaf Hollants stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Glenn Geerts's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. In the 87th minute, Benjamin Versluys hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Glenn Geerts struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Gustaaf Hollants didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Erembodegem. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mitch De Beer in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gustaaf Hollants prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 96 played minutes SC Givry got a freekick which was hit by Johan Vinckx. When the referee ended the match the Erembodegem players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
