Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mitch De Beer in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sven Hemberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Glenn Geerts sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 27thth minute of the game Glenn Geerts who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but KVSK Offagne's Sven Hemberg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Glenn Geerts had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mitch De Beer did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Sven Hemberg 36 minutes into the match. If Glenn Geerts had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, KVSK Offagne's Henk Wuyts got a free kick in the 44th minute. Mitch De Beer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sven Hemberg having to interfere. A collision led to KVSK Offagne getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Joachim Wyfliets hit a great ball. 50 minutes had been played when some careless play by KVSK Offagne's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Enzo Van de Plas was slow to take the kick. During this time Erembodegem's players had a chance to rest. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Joost Van den Berch to make the kick off. Mitch De Beer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 56th minute, Mitch De Beer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dominic Vissenaekens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joost Van den Berch, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joost Van den Berch in the 80th minute of play forced Erembodegem's goalkeeper Dominic Vissenaekens to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when KVSK Offagne's Joost Van den Berch in the 89th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Dominic Vissenaekens was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Erembodegem through an amazing save. If Joost Van den Berch had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 95 minutes, Mitch De Beer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Erembodegem's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mitch De Beer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mitch De Beer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 98 minutes into the game, Joachim Wyfliets was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. KVSK Offagne's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Erembodegem the free kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Glenn Geerts in the 99th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sven Hemberg saved KVSK Offagne from getting behind. There was no doubt that Erembodegem were the better team. Erembodegem's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
