Marcus Wellens was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Dries Vorster fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcus Wellens having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xavier De Mol in the 12th minute of play forced Beuckieboys's goalkeeper Marcus Wellens to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bjorn Cappelsmans struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Godfried Cantillon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Beuckieboys. 23 minutes into the game, Xavier De Mol cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Marcus Wellens was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Bjorn Cappelsmans recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Beuckieboys's Marcus Wellens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xavier De Mol in the 32nd minute of play. Hendrik Laeremans hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. After 36 played minutes, Beuckieboys's Ronald Abeloos shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Godfried Cantillon came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Beuckieboys reached it. Ledeberg's Xavier De Mol got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 47 minutes into the match, Beuckieboys's Bjorn Cappelsmans sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Godfried Cantillon narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 47th match minute, Beuckieboys was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oswald Schol to maneuver through the defense. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bjorn Cappelsmans was the one to do the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Xavier De Mol in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcus Wellens saved Beuckieboys from getting behind. Bjorn Cappelsmans's late challenge caught a Ledeberg's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bjorn Cappelsmans helped the player get up and apologised. Bjorn Cappelsmans kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. After having played for 60 minutes, Xavier De Mol managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ledeberg's supporters crossed their fingers, but Xavier De Mol was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dries Vorster received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Marcus Wellens tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Freddy Ombelets fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Beuckieboys's protests and gave Freddy Ombelets a yellow card for diving instead. Freddy Ombelets hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Ledeberg's Godfried Cantillon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bjorn Cappelsmans in the 69th minute of play. A collision led to Beuckieboys getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Freddy Ombelets hit a great ball. Bjorn Cappelsmans sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Artur Van Halbeeck's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Godfried Cantillon read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 96th minute of play.
