Spectators: 7326 (Terracing: 5500, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 100) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Boudewijn Goddez took the kick off in the first half of the match. FC Elst's Thomas Reijnders played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Levi Terwenhout in the 8th minute of play. Zegelsem booed when FC Elst was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edward Iven didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Boudewijn Goddez in the 55th minute of play forced F.C. Zegelsem's goalkeeper Phillipe Van der Poorten to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Levi Terwenhout might have been able to make a better finish in the 68th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Thomas Reijnders. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Levi Terwenhout ran back to his position shaking his head. Edward Iven hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match.
