In the 55th minute, VC Erquennes's Thobias Clijsters seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Thobias Clijsters the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of VC Erquennes protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Thobias Clijsters had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in VC Erquennes fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 55th minute. Penalty! The referee gave F.C. After having played for 84 minutes, Niki Scheerens managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. F.C. Kaiser's supporters crossed their fingers, but Niki Scheerens was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Matteo Stocks hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. A hard shot by Dieter De Worteler from long distance, 88 minutes into the match, got Tomas Clijsters's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Niki Scheerens recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
