Spectators: 6738 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1738, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Mickael Loos took the kick off in the first half of the match. Senior Citizens RC's Jerome Rauvoe proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save Senior Citizens RC from getting a goal against them. Andre Lenoir sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Senior Citizens RC booed when KSV Brecht was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gertjan Calewaerts didn't get a good kick on the ball. Andre Lenoir took the ball and in the 9 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rens Van de cauter. Rens Van de cauter dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Luk Van Heurick fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rens Van de cauter having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Andre Lenoir's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rens Van de cauter was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. Senior Citizens RC's Luk Van Heurick got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Luk Van Heurick received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Rens Van de cauter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Etienne Pacolet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jerome Rauvoe made an important save on a dangerous shot by Etienne Pacolet in the 35th minute. Gertjan Calewaerts blasted a shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jerome Rauvoe having to make a save. After some careless play in the Senior Citizens RC defense, Etienne Pacolet kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jerome Rauvoe. The Senior Citizens RC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jerome Rauvoe should have stopped the shot. 1-2 became the score in the 48th minute when Andre Lenoir elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

In the 57th minute of the match, Luk Van Heurick tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Rens Van de cauter saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. With a little luck, KSV Brecht's Rens Van de cauter got control of the ball when Andre Lenoir tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jerome Rauvoe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mickael Loos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 66 minutes, Jan-Simon Nelis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the KSV Brecht and the Senior Citizens RC players grew even worse after the yellow card. 65 minutes into the game, one of KSV Brecht:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The goalkeeper, Rens Van de cauter, was totally fooled by Senior Citizens RC's Mitch Van Buyten, who 67 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Etienne Pacolet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Jerome Rauvoe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With his leg Rens Van de cauter managed to avoid a goal in the 74thth minute, when Senior Citizens RC's Andre Lenoir fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Luk Van Heurick blasted a shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rens Van de cauter having to make a save. If Mickael Loos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Etienne Pacolet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Jerome Rauvoe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 91 minutes, Luk Van Heurick took a quick shot and it went in 1-4 without a chance for Rens Van de cauter to make any attempt to save it. After having played for 97 minutes, Luk Van Heurick managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Senior Citizens RC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luk Van Heurick was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Andre Lenoir recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 100th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Senior Citizens RC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
