In the 18th match minute, KSV Brecht was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kobe Conincx to maneuver through the defense. 22 minutes into the match, KSV Brecht's goal looked a bit too open when Kristof Stuckens came free, but Rens Van de cauter reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 24th minute, Etienne Pacolet fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Rens Van de cauter showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Perry Kindt in the 27th minute of the match. In the 28th minute Martijn Schooters suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Jacque Stas charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jacque Stas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, KSV Brecht's Jacque Stas got a free kick in the 28th minute. Abel Van der Veeren's late challenge caught a VC Erquennes's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. VC Erquennes's Silvain Kersselaers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mickael Loos in the 44th minute of play. In the 46th match minute, KSV Brecht was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abel Van der Veeren to maneuver through the defense.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Perry Kindt stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpected shot in the 53rd minute by Perry Kindt got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 57 minutes into the match, KSV Brecht's goalkeeper Rens Van de cauter had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Perry Kindt. VC Erquennes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Perry Kindt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 64 minutes into the match, KSV Brecht's goal looked a bit too open when Godfried Sterkx came free, but Rens Van de cauter reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 68 minutes into the match, VC Erquennes's goal looked a bit too open when Etienne Pacolet came free, but Silvain Kersselaers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 69 minutes into the match, KSV Brecht's Mickael Loos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Silvain Kersselaers narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Mickael Loos managed to get in a good position for a shot. KSV Brecht's supporters rose to their feet, but Mickael Loos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Silvain Kersselaers breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The VC Erquennes players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented KSV Brecht from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
