Spectators: 6739 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1739, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Niki Scheerens made the kick off which started today's match. Tomas Clijsters showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jacque Stas in the 3rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Niki Scheerens in the 5th minute of play forced KSV Brecht's goalkeeper Rens Van de cauter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 9 minutes into the match, KSV Brecht's goal looked a bit too open when Niki Scheerens came free, but Rens Van de cauter reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, F.C. Kaiser's Birger Omblets got a free kick in the 10th minute. After having played for 12 minutes, Mickael Loos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. KSV Brecht's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mickael Loos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Niki Scheerens fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rens Van de cauter having to interfere. Niki Scheerens received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Rens Van de cauter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rens Van de cauter showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gwen Vaes in the 25th minute of the match. Rens Van de cauter showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Niki Scheerens, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. 35 minutes into the match, F.C. Kaiser's goalkeeper Tomas Clijsters had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Etienne Pacolet. Denis Van Crickinghe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rens Van de cauter having to interfere. In the 46th minute, Daevy Inglebert got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mickael Loos to make the kick off. The audience was convinced that Etienne Pacolet's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tomas Clijsters was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. The supporters of KSV Brecht booed when F.C. Kaiser was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daevy Inglebert didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gwen Vaes came free in the 56th minute and tried to tip the ball over Rens Van de cauter, but to the joy of KSV Brecht's supporters the ball went over. If Niki Scheerens had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Niki Scheerens recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Niki Scheerens had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kobe Conincx took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 66th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Tomas Clijsters. F.C. Kaiser's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Niki Scheerens hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. F.C. Kaiser's Tomas Clijsters played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Etienne Pacolet in the 79th minute of play. Tomas Clijsters made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mickael Loos in the 82nd minute of play. KSV Brecht's Mickael Loos got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Niki Scheerens sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. KSV Brecht's defense didn't have a chance, in the 89th minute, when Daevy Inglebert scored to the left of an out of position Rens Van de cauter, making the score, 0-1. When Etienne Pacolet fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored KSV Brecht's protests and gave Etienne Pacolet a yellow card for diving instead. 97 minutes had been played when some careless play by KSV Brecht's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daevy Inglebert was slow to take the kick. During this time F.C. Kaiser's players had a chance to rest.
