An unexpectedly hard shot by Kristof Stuckens in the 5th minute of play forced Torpedo Wietschoate's goalkeeper Claus Baeten to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 6 minutes into the game, Nicolaas Raeimakers was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Torpedo Wietschoate's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave VC Erquennes the free kick. Dieter De Worteler took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 7th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Claus Baeten. Torpedo Wietschoate's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The supporters of Torpedo Wietschoate booed when VC Erquennes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Perry Kindt didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rajmond Gyselinckx fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silvain Kersselaers having to interfere. Perry Kindt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Claus Baeten tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Claus Baeten made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Perry Kindt sent off a good shot on target. Silvain Kersselaers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gerard Snieders in the 25th minute of play. If Gerard Snieders had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rajmond Gyselinckx sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A collision led to Torpedo Wietschoate getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Nicolaas Raeimakers hit a great ball. The corner ended in Dieter De Worteler almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Torpedo Wietschoate's Claus Baeten did a great save. Perry Kindt succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 43rd playminute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rajmond Gyselinckx was the one to do the kick off. Claus Baeten showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kristof Stuckens, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Claus Baeten took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kristof Stuckens, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kristof Stuckens sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Perry Kindt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kristof Stuckens recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 65th minute the ball was on its way in behind Torpedo Wietschoate's goalkeeper Claus Baeten, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Perry Kindt struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Claus Baeten didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for VC Erquennes. If Kristof Stuckens had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Claus Baeten made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Perry Kindt in the 76th minute of play. Claus Baeten took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Perry Kindt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 84th match minute, VC Erquennes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Loui Lenaerts to maneuver through the defense. In the 86th minute of the match, Rajmond Gyselinckx got a very nice opportunity to score, but Silvain Kersselaers was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Rajmond Gyselinckx sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. VC Erquennes had played much better football throughout.
