Zeb United's supporters rose to their feet, but Harrie Smoors was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Octavian Wilmots breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Maxime Knockaert received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Octavian Wilmots tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Klaas Wintermans in the 15th minute of play forced Zeb United's goalkeeper Diederick Suteweij to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mathias Denturck's late challenge caught a Desse 's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Klaas Wintermans might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Diederick Suteweij. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Diederick Suteweij yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Maxime Knockaert recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Yelle Le Page hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. In the 48th minute, Maxime Knockaert got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Harrie Smoors was the one to do the kick off. Octavian Wilmots showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Harrie Smoors, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. In the 63rd minute Klaas Wintermans shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diederick Suteweij saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Rocky Van Dijck fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Desse 's protests and gave Rocky Van Dijck a yellow card for diving instead. Harrie Smoors received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Desse 's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Zeb United the free kick. Zeb United's Harrie Smoors got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Zeb United's Diederick Suteweij played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yelle Le Page in the 100th minute of play. Zeb United were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
