Spectators: 7421 (Terracing: 5680, Seating: 1741, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Robbe Helssens made the kick off which started today's match. In the 4thth minute of the game Pierre-Olivier Degryse who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Tienen's Yannik Marrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 5 minutes of play, De Fenix boys's Pierre-Olivier Degryse made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Yannik Marrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 8th minute Pierre-Olivier Degryse shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yannik Marrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Fernand de Pelsmaker had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pierre-Olivier Degryse fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yannik Marrant having to interfere. In the 25th minute, Fernand de Pelsmaker left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The De Fenix boys fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. After 34 minutes, Dominik Libreghts mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Tienen and the De Fenix boys players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 35 played minutes FC Tienen got a freekick which was hit by Dominik Libreghts. De Fenix boys's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Diederik Van Maestricht in the 37th minute. 39 minutes into the match, FC Tienen's goal looked a bit too open when Pierre-Olivier Degryse came free, but Yannik Marrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Yannik Marrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fernand de Pelsmaker's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. In the 44th minute Pierre-Olivier Degryse shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yannik Marrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kenney Neirynck fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Billie Van der Roost having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 49th minute, Pierre-Olivier Degryse managed to get in a good position for a shot. De Fenix boys's supporters rose to their feet, but Pierre-Olivier Degryse was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Yannik Marrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After the first half De Fenix boys were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Pierre-Olivier Degryse was the one to do the kick off. In the 57th minute, Pierre-Olivier Degryse reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Yannik Marrant. The goal made the score 0-3. In the 63rd minute, Pierre-Olivier Degryse fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Yannik Marrant, passed just outside the right post. With a little luck, FC Tienen's Yannik Marrant got control of the ball when Fernand de Pelsmaker tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 75th minute, Fernand de Pelsmaker left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The De Fenix boys fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. When the match clock showed 79 minutes, the score became 0-5 when Fernand de Pelsmaker sped through FC Tienen's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Yannik Marrant. Fernand de Pelsmaker could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Yannik Marrant made a huge save. When Pierre-Olivier Degryse came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the De Fenix boys fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pierre-Olivier Degryse couldn't finish the play. The supporters of De Fenix boys booed when FC Tienen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robert Wenderix didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fernand de Pelsmaker could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Yannik Marrant made a huge save. With a little luck, FC Tienen's Yannik Marrant got control of the ball when Fernand de Pelsmaker tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Robert Wenderix fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Tienen's protests and gave Robert Wenderix a yellow card for diving instead. FC Tienen's Yannik Marrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pierre-Olivier Degryse in the 98th minute of play. The FC Tienen fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. De Fenix boys were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
