With an extended leg and a bit of luck Will Dewinter prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Wart Van de Velde fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Puttemas having to interfere. 25 minutes into the game, Jacq Le Page cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Will Dewinter was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When return of the angels's Jacq Le Page in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Carlos Puttemas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Wart Van de Velde was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wart Van de Velde in the 59th minute of play forced return of the angels's goalkeeper Carlos Puttemas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 62 minutes, Sam-Lucas Rosseels managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. return of the angels's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sam-Lucas Rosseels was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 64 minutes of play, Class on Grass's Kent Decock made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net.
