When Robbie Raniers fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored return of the angels's protests and gave Robbie Raniers a yellow card for diving instead. In the 11th minute, Robbie Raniers hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 17th minute, Tijs Maerschalks ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Carlos Puttemas was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Carlos Puttemas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tijs Maerschalks in the 21st minute of play. The supporters of return of the angels booed when The Dinosaurs was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antonello Mangione didn't get a good kick on the ball. With his leg Rocky De Vreese managed to avoid a goal in the 25thth minute, when return of the angels's Jacq Le Page fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Tijs Maerschalks sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, return of the angels's William Van Espen got a free kick in the 30th minute. Tijs Maerschalks recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tijs Maerschalks sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Carlos Puttemas came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by The Dinosaurs's Eralp Zati. But to his dismay, Eralp Zati quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tijs Maerschalks in the 42nd minute of play forced return of the angels's goalkeeper Carlos Puttemas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 45th minute, Tijs Maerschalks got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sam-Lucas Rosseels to strike the kick off in the second half. If Eralp Zati had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eralp Zati blasted a shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Carlos Puttemas having to make a save. A collision led to The Dinosaurs getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Leopold Govaerts hit a great ball. When Tijs Maerschalks came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the The Dinosaurs fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tijs Maerschalks couldn't finish the play. Tijs Maerschalks struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Carlos Puttemas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for The Dinosaurs. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind return of the angels's goalkeeper Carlos Puttemas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Eralp Zati received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Carlos Puttemas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 91st minute by Eralp Zati got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side.
