Oliver Horemans fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Will Dewinter having to interfere. Mario Gielens received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Will Dewinter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 20 minutes into the match, Class on Grass's goal looked a bit too open when Harald Van den Berch came free, but Will Dewinter reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 22nd minute Oliver Horemans shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Will Dewinter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 28 minutes into the match, Class on Grass's goal looked a bit too open when Oliver Horemans came free, but Will Dewinter reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Jeffrey Docx fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Class on Grass's protests and gave Jeffrey Docx a yellow card for diving instead. In the 30th minute, Jeffrey Docx hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Will Dewinter showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oliver Horemans, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. If Mario Gielens had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Class on Grass's Will Dewinter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mario Gielens in the 46th minute of play. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Wart Van de Velde to strike the kick off in the second half. Harald Van den Berch kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Jeffrey Docx's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Emmanuel Cockaerts read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. In the 66th minute Wart Van de Velde shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emmanuel Cockaerts saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Oliver Horemans was extremely unlucky when he, in the 74th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Oliver Horemans received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Will Dewinter came out and tried to block the shot, but Oliver Horemans slotted it home off the left post making it 0-1 in the 76th minute. When Oliver Horemans came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the KRC Meerbeek fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Oliver Horemans couldn't finish the play. In the 82nd minute of the match, Oliver Horemans tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Will Dewinter saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. If Wart Van de Velde had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Will Dewinter made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mario Gielens in the 85th minute. Mario Gielens blasted a shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Will Dewinter having to make a save.
