In the 5th minute, Steve Schaerlaekens made a precise shot to the right of Maciej Absolwent. KV Breendonk Duvel's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. After a rather tough play, FC Verberckt's Loui Reniers got a free kick in the 8th minute. Maciej Absolwent showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Loui Reniers, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. A collision led to KV Breendonk Duvel getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Leo Poelmans hit a great ball. Maurus Sustens sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The long shot by Gustav Van Gestelt in the 29th minute really tested Maciej Absolwent's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Berten De Clerk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sandro Canal blasted a shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bas De Wortelaer having to make a save. Bas De Wortelaer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sandro Canal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. FC Verberckt's Bas De Wortelaer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Berten De Clerk in the 37th minute of play. Leo Poelmans received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Bas De Wortelaer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Maciej Absolwent made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maurus Sustens in the 59th minute of play. In the 67th minute Maurus Sustens shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maciej Absolwent saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind KV Breendonk Duvel's goalkeeper Maciej Absolwent, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Maciej Absolwent showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Steve Schaerlaekens in the 70th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maurus Sustens in the 82nd minute of play forced KV Breendonk Duvel's goalkeeper Maciej Absolwent to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 84 minutes into the match, KV Breendonk Duvel's Berten De Clerk sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bas De Wortelaer narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to KV Breendonk Duvel getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Joseph De Potter hit a great ball. Maurus Sustens recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Berten De Clerk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the KV Breendonk Duvel defense, Maurus Sustens kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Maciej Absolwent. The KV Breendonk Duvel fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Maciej Absolwent should have stopped the shot.
