Andrez Van Meerbek hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Jan-Joost Schamp's late challenge caught a KFC Postel's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jan-Joost Schamp helped the player get up and apologised. 19 minutes into the match, KFC Postel's goal looked a bit too open when Gert-Jan Reiniers came free, but Jerry Deman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Gery Worteler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. Kent De Witte blasted a shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tommy Martens having to make a save.
