Spectators: 7637 (Terracing: 5729, Seating: 1756, VIP seats: 152) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Matthy Loosen started the match with the kick off. After having played for 7 minutes, Maxim Van Hoeij managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Doische's supporters crossed their fingers, but Maxim Van Hoeij was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With his leg Axell Demeester managed to avoid a goal in the 14thth minute, when Doische's Oscar Raaymakers fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Doische's Matthy Loosen got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Doische's Christofere De Kelper played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Berten Pannekoek in the 20th minute of play. In the 21st minute Berten Pannekoek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christofere De Kelper saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Oscar Raaymakers recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Berten Pannekoek in the 26th minute of play forced Doische's goalkeeper Christofere De Kelper to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 29 minutes into the match, Doische's goal looked a bit too open when Berten Pannekoek came free, but Christofere De Kelper reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Oscar Raaymakers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Axell Demeester tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Axell Demeester showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matthy Loosen, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Alain Van Den Driessche received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Christofere De Kelper tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Christofere De Kelper showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Berten Pannekoek in the 55th minute of the match. Maxim Van Hoeij hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Matthy Loosen might have been able to make a better finish in the 63rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Axell Demeester. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Matthy Loosen ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, FC MooiBoys's Sebbe Coopmans got a free kick in the 65th minute. When Alain Van Den Driessche came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the FC MooiBoys fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alain Van Den Driessche couldn't finish the play. When Ryan Van Linthoudt fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Doische's protests and gave Ryan Van Linthoudt a yellow card for diving instead. In the 70th match minute, Doische was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ryan Van Linthoudt to maneuver through the defense. After 72 played minutes Doische got a freekick which was hit by Maxim Van Hoeij. With a little luck, Doische's Christofere De Kelper got control of the ball when Alain Van Den Driessche tried to sneak it across the goal line. Doische's Christofere De Kelper proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save Doische from getting a goal against them.
