Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Loid Van de kauter made the kick off which started today's match. After having played for 15 minutes, Yelle Van Collenborgh managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AFC Vlissegem's supporters crossed their fingers, but Yelle Van Collenborgh was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ewout Deckers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Loid Van de kauter, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. In the 21st minute Bas Van Hespe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arne Eli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edmond Nijs's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 23rdth minute, Arne Eli skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bas Van Hespe to make the kick off. The supporters of Club Malle booed when AFC Vlissegem was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Henri-Xavier De Becker didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Club Malle's Ewout Deckers got control of the ball when Yelle Van Collenborgh tried to sneak it across the goal line. 57 minutes into the game, Yelle Van Collenborgh cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Loid Van de kauter received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Ewout Deckers tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ludwig Winnepennincks kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Bas Van Hespe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Dyllen Rummens's late challenge caught a AFC Vlissegem's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dyllen Rummens helped the player get up and apologised. In the 89th match minute, Club Malle was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dyllen Rummens to maneuver through the defense. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched AFC Vlissegem eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
