Spectators: 6738 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1738, VIP seats: 0) Mutshagen's Jan-Simon Deschrijver started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute, Jan-Simon Deschrijver got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 5th minute Jan-Simon Deschrijver shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ewout Deckers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 6 played minutes Mutshagen got a freekick which was hit by Ivo Hosselaer. Ewout Deckers made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Thobias Dierickx sent off a good shot on target. Ewout Deckers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jan-Simon Deschrijver, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. The long shot by Jonathan Reuters in the 17th minute really tested Ewout Deckers's skills. Jeff Coenens took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edmond Nijs, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Mutshagen's Xavier Tombuer got a free kick in the 37th minute. Jeff Coenens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bas Van Hespe in the 38th minute of play. In the 40th minute of the match Raf Lambrechs sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jeff Coenens skillfully saved the ball. Jeff Coenens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmond Nijs, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Edmond Nijs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Mutshagen getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Yanis Borglevens hit a great ball. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bas Van Hespe made a kick off. With a little luck, Mutshagen's Jeff Coenens got control of the ball when Edmond Nijs tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jan-Simon Deschrijver sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 64 minutes into the match, Club Malle's goal looked a bit too open when Jan-Simon Deschrijver came free, but Ewout Deckers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Club Malle's zone, Jan-Simon Deschrijver stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ewout Deckers came out of the goal and Jan-Simon Deschrijver tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Xavier Tombuer kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. In the 77th minute Thobias Dierickx shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ewout Deckers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edmond Nijs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bas Van Hespe's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jeff Coenens read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. After having played for 92 minutes, Edmond Nijs managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Malle's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edmond Nijs was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thobias Dierickx struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Ewout Deckers didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mutshagen.
